About the Feature:

R. Dwayne Betts' Shahid Reads His Own Palm received the 2009 Beatrice Hawley Award from Alice James Books. Brenda Cárdenas is the author of Boomerang and From the Tongues of Bricks and Stones. Paul Martinez Pompa's My Kill Adore Him received the Andrés Montoya Poetry Prize. Ines P. Rivera Prosdocimi's work has appeared in Bellevue Literary Review & elsewhere.
